Many students get stuck when it comes to understanding the performance indications on a score.

This was an engaging music theory bootcamp that improved and tested my theory knowledge. I feel like I have achieved a better understanding of the topics covered because I did not fully understand them prior to this bootcamp. The e-books proved to be most helpful and are going to be a lovely reference to refer to when revising for my exam.
Here is what you can do in just 3 days:

DAY 1
You will learn what we mean with articulation, performance direction and expression and understand how to play some of the most common indications such as piano or legato.
You will also understand the difference between Allegro and Allegretto, the meaning of a metronome speed and how to best play dolce.

The course is very detailed with each term and explained it not only in terms of definition, but also how it could be interpreted when playing. The most useful thing was the e-books, as it contained all the information, plus pictures of examples of the terms, and is easily readable.

This music theory bootcamp was interactive and enjoyable. I have gained a deeper understanding of musical terms through this course and its materials, particularly the ebooks and cheat sheets.
Hello, my name is Rossella,
and I am your Italian music teacher.
I started learning piano when I was a child and completed the Conservatoire before finishing school. I have an undergraduate, masters and PhD degree in music and have dedicated my entire life to performing, teaching and examining music and music theory.
25 years after my very first music lesson, I am still passionate about giving music lovers the opportunity to explore and deeply understand the amazing world of music. Making people feel creative and able to appreciate how expressive and original music can be is one of my biggest goals. But most of all, I like to make music theory and musical knowledge accessible to everyone.
